Sandy Cameron,
Internationally acclaimed, American-born guest violinist, Sandy Cameron, was only 12 when she debuted on the European stage.  She began her violin studies in Germany while just 8, attended The Juilliard School's prestigious pre-college division and now studies at Harvard and the New England Conservatory of Music.  She is the youngest winner of the Salzburg Mozarteum Outstanding Student Prize and recipient of the 2005 Gold Award in Arts Recognition and Talent Search from the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts.

Watson, World Premiere, For the Fallen
The world premiere of Watson’s beautiful and moving composition honors all who have lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. With strings carrying For the Fallen’s rising and falling theme, it builds to an impassioned climax before a solo viola utters a poignant final farewell.

Goldmark, Violin Concerto
Sandy Cameron, violin

The violin pyrotechnics of Karl Goldmark’s beautiful, though seldom performed concerto, will explode in the hands of this rising international superstar, Sandy Cameron.

Bizet, Symphony in C
Discovered 60 years after his death, Georges Bizet’s jubilant, glorious symphony—composed when he was only 17—will effervesce like champagne with happy, tonal bubbles and sparkling spirit.

Lyadov, Mazurka
Anatoly Lyadov's lively folk dance will conjure up images of fairy tales and fanciful spectacles.
