"immense control and exuberant
inventiveness that defied belief"
The Daily Telegraph

Where the revelry begins!
December 31, 2008
Wednesday at 7 pm

At American Music Theatre
Start your New Year’s Eve revelry with an event for the ages. Coming to Lancaster will be Roby Lakatos, the Hungarian Gypsy violin king, and his five-piece ensemble.

While classically trained at the Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest, he first learned to play within the heart of his own family, direct descendants of the legendary Gypsy violin dynasty of Janos Bihari.

Together with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, Roby and his exuberant Gypsy ensemble will be the perfect party complement to the noisemakers and champagne toast.
