DANIELPOUR Vox Terrae (World Premiere)
This world premiere of an “Only in Lancaster” original from Grammy Award-winning composer Richard Danielpour expresses in music “what the earth might say if it could speak to us.” Commissioned by the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra after Danielpour was presented with our Composer’s Award in 2006.

“Vibrant, vivid, primal” describe the Medieval songs and poems shaped by composer Carl Orff.

This theatrical choral masterpiece will be brought to life by the 120-member Lancaster Symphony Chorus comprised of talent from our community and the students of Franklin & Marshall College, Elizabethtown College (Dr. Matthew Fritz, director), and Millersville University (Dr. Mark Boyle, director).

Joining them will be the remarkable young voices of the Children’s Choir of Lancaster.
