Ticket prices vary according to concert series, performance time, seat location, age of patron, and popularity of performance. Classic Concert Series tickets generally range from $25.50 – $60.50 before preservation fees and ticket processing fees are applied (fee amounts vary by performance location). The Lancaster Symphony reserves the right to increase ticket prices should a concert become in demand. Ticket discounts vary depending on concert popularity and cannot be applied to previous ticket purchases or combined with other offers. Special prices are available for current Symphony Subscribers, patrons 17-years and younger, and for active university students (see Student Rush). The Symphony has a no refund policy.
Within the hour before the start time of each Classic Series concert, currently enrolled students can purchase $10 student rush tickets from the Fulton Opera House box office or, for the Lancaster Bible College concerts, the Lancaster Symphony Patron Services will-call desk (tickets subject to availability) by showing their student ID. Limit one ticket per valid student ID.
Flex Pass Subscription packages are sold in sets of six or more passes which are good for tickets to any Classic Series performance (best available seating at time of redemption). They make great gifts and can be used in any combination among the concerts of your choice. To redeem Flex Passes, call the Fulton Opera House box office at (717) 397-7425, or Lancaster Symphony Patron Services at (717) 291-4420. Flex Passes cannot be redeemed for the New Year’s Eve concert and will expire after the last Classic Series concert of the season – Sunday, May 20, 2017.
With at least 24-hour notice before their scheduled performance, Symphony Subscribers may exchange their ticket reservations for any other Classic Series performance. Tickets cannot be exchanged for missed performances. If a Symphony Subscriber has missed their performance they may purchase new tickets with the 15% off Subscriber discount. Ticket exchanges are not available for non-subscribers.
If you are unable to give away or use your concert tickets, please consider donating them back to the Symphony by returning them to the Symphony Office at least 24-hours prior to the performance. This gives the Symphony a chance to re-sell the seat and your gift is tax-deductible.
The Lancaster Symphony issues ticket vouchers for various special events, special community groups, and as gift options throughout the season. Ticket vouchers are good for tickets to any Classic Series performance or as detailed on the voucher. Ticket vouchers do not have monetary value and therefore cannot be redeemed for cash and or be applied toward other purchases. Ticket vouchers are not guaranteed seating until they are redeemed through the appropriate box office for tickets. For the best available seating, we recommend making your reservation well in advance of the concert you would like to attend. Tickets are held at will call for voucher return and cannot be exchanged once redeemed. To purchase Gift Ticket Vouchers or request vouchers for your non-profit’s special event call the Lancaster Symphony Patron Services at (717) 291-4420.
Lost your tickets? No problem! Call the appropriate box office to have your concert tickets reprinted.

The Symphony does not cancel concerts due to inclement weather. Concerts can only be performed on very limited dates provided by the performance venues and therefore, even with inclement weather, the Symphony is still responsible for paying our personnel, musicians, and venue rental fees. If you are ever unable to attend a performance, and no friends or family are able to go in your place, you may send your unused tickets back to the Symphony office. The Lancaster Symphony is a non-profit organization so your gift is tax-deductible. No refunds will be given for missed performances due to weather.
Ticket prices cover less than 50% of the true costs of bringing the Symphony to the stage for a performance. We rely heavily on the generous support of the community. Consider making a donation or joining our volunteer corps to help us set up for our VIP receptions, feed our talented musicians, usher at select performance, and organize annual mailings. We also offer non-paid high school and college internships for any student considering a career in the arts. Please visit our volunteer opportunities page to get involved!
