Schubert, Symphony No. 3
This often-overlooked symphony has a light and effervescent quality. An excellent overture to our dramatic concert program.
Beethoven, Symphony No. 9
Rebekah AuYeung, soprano
Ruth Kenote, mezzo-soprano
Matthew Garrett, tenor
Keith Harris, bass-baritone
Beethoven’s crowning masterpiece is the most significant piece of music ever composed.
Sisters Ruth Kenote and Rebekah AuYeung are joined by two outstanding vocalists from last November’s Carmina Burana, Matthew Garrett and Keith Harris, along with the Lancaster Symphony Chorus, comprised of talent from our community and the students of Franklin & Marshall College (Dr. William Wright, director), Elizabethtown College (Dr. Matthew Fritz, director), and Millersville University (Dr. Mark A. Boyle, director).
