Each year the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra and the Women's Symphony Association team up to present two performances to children in grades 3-5 from the rural school districts of Lancaster County and our county-wide home-school population!

Maestro Gunzenhauser introduces the families of instruments to the children, and sometimes a student even gets to conduct the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra in our National March, The Stars and Stripes Forever.  The winner of the Instrumental Competition/Scholarship also performs for the young audience.  For many students, these performances serve as a springboard into instrumental music!
