Symphony Library Pass

The Lancaster Symphony Orchestra encourages families to enjoy live musical experiences together, so beginning in 2013–14, the LSO was the first performing arts organization to join several area museums in providing a free pass which can be checked out from a local library branch by a family of up to four people.

Thirteen family passes are in circulation and can be redeemed for any one of the LSO Masterworks Series concerts, with the potential of providing 260 music lovers annually with a free symphonic concert experience.

Symphony Pass Circulation Guidelines: 

  • Adult check-out only. 

  • One-week circulation. Pass may be checked out starting the Monday prior to the performance you plan to attend and returned by the Monday after. 

  • Pass must be picked up and returned to the home library. 

  • Reserves are allowed from any library including Bookmobile. 

  • Overdue fines: $1.00 a day/up to $5.00 maximum. 

  • Replacement cost: $7.00 for lost or damaged case. 

  • Pass not eligible for renewal; seating is subject to availability and is limited. May not be used for reserving seats at future performances! 

Conditions of Use: 

  • Valid for Masterwork Concert Series performances only. Excludes Holiday & Pops performances. 

  • Not valid with other offers or special events. 

  • Designated for a family of up to four people, one of which must be a supervising adult and at least one child 18 or younger.

  • LSO reserves the right to refuse a reservation if the pass visitor has reached the borrowing/attendance limit (2 concerts/season.)  

  • Seating is subject to availability and is limited. 

  • For all concerts, the pass holder must call 24 hours prior to the concert date 717-291-6440 Mon.-Fri., 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM to reserve their seats. 

  • Pass must be presented to LSO Box Office staff in the performance hall lobby to pick up tickets at Will Call. 

  • Pass may not be used for commercial or for-profit purposes.
