Open Rehearsals
Open Rehearsals offer community members a free and unique opportunity to view a working symphonic rehearsal. As the musicians work on particular passages, attendees get a behind-the-scenes look at how a performance moves from a work in progress to a work of art. LSO Open Rehearsals are free, have general seating, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Location: The Gardner Theatre within Lancaster Country Day School - GPS directions, use: 901 Schreiner Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603.
The Gardner Theater is ADA-compliant and easily accessible for wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers
2026–2027 Open Rehearsals - 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Doors will be open from 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM only. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated, as doors will be locked and unmonitored after 4:15 PM. Patrons are asked to remain seated until the scheduled break, which will occur between 5:15 PM and 5:30 PM. Please plan your arrival and departure accordingly.
If children can sit quietly for the duration of the rehearsal, they are welcome to attend.
